Beginning at your agreed pickup point, we travel north to the quiet, spectacular coast of Buchan. Gardenstown, Crovie and Pennan each offer a glimpse of a way of life shaped by the sea—once busy herring ports, now wonderfully atmospheric places to pause.
From the working harbours of Fraserburgh and Peterhead to castles, cliff-edge reserves and seal beaches, Jamie will shape the route around the weather, tides, access and your interests.

A coast of villages, cliffs and sea stories.
Stops and optional visits depend on available time, access, tides, opening arrangements and conditions on the day.
Morning
Collection, then a scenic drive to the northern coast.

Optional, time permitting: Troup Head gannet colony, Museum of Scottish Lighthouses and New Aberdour Caves (tide dependent).
Afternoon
Lunch in Peterhead, followed by a run along the rugged Buchan shore.

Optional, time permitting: Peterhead Prison Museum. Puffins may be seen at Bullers o’ Buchan from April to August.
Late afternoon & return
