Films & stories

A place worth sharing.
Stories worth telling.

There’s a side of Scotland that doesn’t always make the postcards. Fishing villages tucked beneath towering cliffs. Landscapes shaped by the North Sea. Traditions, communities and stories passed down through generations.

I started making films to share the North East Scotland I know and love — the places I grew up around, the people who give them character, and the remarkable beauty that is so often overlooked.

A personal record

Why I make these films

I’ve always believed there’s more to Scotland than the places everybody already knows.

The North East has been home to generations of people whose lives were shaped by the land and the sea. Its harbours, villages, wildlife and traditions are part of a story that deserves to be told.

Making these films is my way of celebrating the place I call home — and sharing a little of it with people who might never otherwise discover it.

From screen to road

Inspired to see it for yourself?

The films are an invitation to discover this part of Scotland. And if you’d like to explore some of these places in person, I’d be delighted to show you around.

My private tours are built around the same curiosity, local knowledge and love of the North East that inspire the films.
